Over the moon for our painted cow!
Constable Estate Vineyards welcome everyone to come and see our new sculpture on display which was customed designed and built by Swiss Artist, Greg Holt.
"In December 2006 I was in Switzerland with my family on a walking and skiing holiday. We went window shopping in a local village and visited a little gallery we knew well.
Inside was a life-size painted cow made of polystyrene and painted to order by well know Swiss based artist Greg Holt. We decided to order an Australian version of the cow painted green and gold with a ribbon around its neck saying “Constable Estate Vineyards First Prize”, “Bottles & Glasses” on one rump and ” Barrel of One” on the other."

Music in the Hunter
October 31st, 1st and 2nd November 2008
This year’s program will continue the fine tradition of chamber music excellence established by this festival for the past seventeen years.
The internationally acclaimed members of the Goldner String Quartet: Dene Olding, Dimity Hall, Irina Morozova and Julian Smiles will perform much loved repertoire from the chamber music literature, and will collaborate with special guest artists that will soon to be announced. During the weekend, eminent musicologist Professor Roger Covell, will entertain and explain the finer points in pre-concert talks aimed to enrich our listening experience.
Excellent local wines and a new menu from Peppers Guest House will complete an unforgettable weekend experience.
